No. Beer, wine, liquor, and all other alcoholic beverages are equally likely to cause damage as a result of fetal alcohol exposure. While red wine is rumored to be safe and healthy for women to drink to help them relax, it is just as dangerous to fetal development as any other type of alcohol. No alcohol in any form should be consumed during pregnancy.
