This holiday season NOFAS is dedicating funds raised to better support the needs of students with an FASD in the classroom, and to educate schools to understand the challenges of FASD through teacher training materials and sensible strategies for classroom accommodations. Our fundraising goal is $15,000 –Every donation helps–Please make a gift today!
Specifically, the NOFAS Holiday Wish List consists of:
- Staff time to help two additional families each week advocate for their child—over 100 new families living with an FASD each year!
- Production of a new video for teachers of middle and high school students with an FASD
- Publication of a new handbook for families with school-age children affected by FASD that includes successful classroom interventions and case studies
- Distribution of the NOFAS evidence-based Kindergarten through 12th Grade curriculum
