Goals

PREVENT – Reduce the incidence of FASD

EDUCATE – Raise awareness and understanding of FASD and the risks associated with alcohol use and pregnancy

SUPPORT – Provide resources and consumer advocacy to individuals with FASD and their caregivers

ADVOCATE – Advance FASD-related policies and legislation seeking recognition and investment

COMMUNICATE – Promote NOFAS, its messages, and the brand

Objective 1 – Implement national, statewide, and community-based multi-media universal prevention campaigns

Objective 2 – Implement alcohol screening and brief intervention into clinical practice at heath care delivery sites, and other selective prevention strategies

EDUCATE                Raise awareness and understanding of FASD and the risks associated with alcohol use
during pregnancy

Objective 1 – Implement NOFAS curricula for medical and allied health students
