NOFAS CAP Level I Introduction

Welcome to the NOFAS CAP Level I online course on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). The course is made up of a pre-test; six competencies each consisting of a brief description, learning objectives, and a comprehensive lesson plan; and a post-test. Although, the entire course is designed to take approximately six hours, you may take as much or as little time as you need to complete the pre-test, and review the descriptions, objectives and lesson plans for the six competencies before proceeding to the post-test.

To complete both the pre-test and the post-test you will be redirected to the NOFAS page on the web-based survey website, Survey Monkey. Upon completing the post-test your results will be tabulated and forwarded to NOFAS. NOFAS will contact you within three business days with the results.

If you have successfully passed the test you will receive a certificate of completion and CEU paperwork. You will also be eligible to register for a CAP Level II training.

If you did not successfully complete the test, you may repeat the test until you achieve a passing score.

If you have any questions while taking this course please contact Brianna Montgomery at NOFAS.

To begin, you will be redirected to the pre-test. The pre-test is completed anonymously and the results will only be recorded and evaluated in aggregate form. After completion of the pre-test you will follow a link back to the first cometency of CAP Level I.
