“My experience leads me to suggest that if there was one thing that I could do, I would just make sure that all physicians had training in fetal alcohol syndrome and its effects. It would alleviate a lot of frustration for a lot of families, including ours.”

In Memory of Dave Duncan

NOFAS joins the FASD community in mourning the passing of our dear friend Dave Duncan. Dave and his wife Janet have been incredible advocates for FASD since their son Michael was diagnosed several years ago. Dave and Janet shared a seat on the Maryland FASD Task Force, and were always willing to volunteer their time and personal story in support of the NOFAS mission.

Dave was an incredible father, a wonderful friend, and a tireless advocate for FASD prevention, treatment and support. NOFAS will miss him dearly. Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, at Columbia Memorial Park in Columbia, MD. For further information, please contact NOFAS at (202) 785-4585.

To make a charitable donation in memory of Dave Duncan mail checks, payable to the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, to:

National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
900 17th Street, NW, Suite 910
Washington, DC 20006
or call NOFAS at (202) 785-4585

Please include a short note referencing the Dave Duncan Memorial and listing your name and address as the donor for acknowledgment purposes.

NOFAS is grateful for friends who support our important work in FASD prevention, treatment and support.
