“We know what we need to do in order to address this epidemic, and it involves some very simple things, like proper maternal and child health care, where we can make sure a pregnant woman has resources available to get the treatment and support she is going to need in order to make it through her pregnancy without drinking.”
Rep. Patrick Kennedy

NOFAS Invites You to Attend Breakfast on Capitol Hill

NOFAS Donor Breakfast

Tuesday, April 25, 2006

8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

The Monocle

107 D Street, NE, Capitol Hill

“Play it Smart. Alcohol and Pregnancy Don’t Mix!”

NOFAS is pleased to invite you as our guest to our spring breakfast for donors, benefit steering committee members and prospective supporters. We will be joined at the breakfast by Senator Lisa Murkowski, other Members of Congress and Dr. Sterling Williams, Vice President of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The breakfast will rally support for the upcoming June 7, NOFAS Leadership Awards Benefit reception on Capitol Hill. Prospective donors will have the opportunity to meet board members, current donors and other friends of NOFAS to learn about the benefit event and the organization’s important mission and programs, and to join the benefit steering committee. Steering Committee members will contribute or raise money for NOFAS and be listed on the invitation and all event materials, and featured at the benefit.

Contact Tom Donaldson at NOFAS, donaldson@nofas.org to RSVP for the breakfast and for more details on the upcoming benefit.
