Nevada State EUDL Coordinator Kathy Bartosz and Officer John Schutt will provide an overview of how geographic information system (GIS) mapping of outlet density and crime helped the Las Vegas PD focus their EUDL enforcement efforts in hotspot areas of the city, resulting in improved compliance by alcohol retailers from 78% to 98%; and achieved an overall reduction in crime by 29%, as well as property crime reduced by 12%.

Traffic Safety Prosecutor Jared Olson will discuss how social networking platforms can be used to develop local intelligence regarding underage drinking events and a serve as a foundation for preventative action. Webinar registrants will learn how using today’s technology, to include GIS mapping and social networking platforms, provides them a means to strategically deploy resources.
