6th International Training Institute: Establish/Enhance/Expand a Local Teen Court

On December 4-6, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Global Youth Justice will host its annual International Training Institute, “Establish/Enhance/Expand a Local Teen Court/Youth Court Diversion Program.” Topics will include training adult and youth volunteers, holding mock family intake meetings, offering quality community service programs, implementing operational and administrative procedures, and more.

This event is designed for those who are interested in establishing or enhancing a local juvenile justice diversion program, often referred to as youth court, teen court, peer court, student court and youth peer panel. Individuals relatively new to these youth justice programs, those who have never attended one of these intensive 3-day trainings, and those who are relatively new adult staff/adult volunteers, working full or part-time in an existing local youth court/teen court should participate in this training institute.
