On October 28, NOFAS held a press conference in Beverly Hills, California to unveil Infinite Power, a new award-winning television public service announcement (PSA) produced for NOFAS by the Los Angeles chapter of Women In Film (WIF). NOFAS board member Michele Zieger proposed and coordinated the project through the WIF PSA Program, and hosted a luncheon following the press conference. Special guest Senator Tom Daschle, WIF board members and staff, Gina Loring, the actress starring in the PSA, and NOFAS supporters were in attendance. NOFAS board chair Terry Lierman and directors, Neal Baer, Executive Producer of Law & Order: SVU, and Michael Wolf also participated in the events at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
