Continuing Education (CE) credits or contact hours are available through the UAA Center for Behavioral Health Research and Services (CBHRS ).

Participants will be eligible to receive four (4) continuing education (CE) credits or contact hours for the completion of t he workshop. The processing fee for these four credits is $25.00.

CBHRS is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor con tinuing education for psychologists. CBHRS maintains responsibility for th is program and its content. These CE credits may be accepted by licensing boards and for other professional purposes. Please consult with your licen sing board to confirm acceptance of these credits.

This activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approva l to award contact hours. Montana Nurses Association is accredited as an a pprover of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentiali ng Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

These workshops meet the requirem ents for the State of Alaska’s Department of Health and Social Services’ F ASD101: Insights into Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders training.

A ll participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop .

No previous knowledg e of FASD is required.

\nThe purpose of this activity is to increase nurses’ ability to effective ly prevent alcohol-exposed pregnancies\, to identify individuals who may b e living with an FASD\, and to refer individuals for an FASD diagnostic ev aluation. Criteria for successful completion of this activity include atte ndance at 100% of the session and active participation in group discussion . There is no identified conflict of interest for any planner or presenter involved with this educational activity.
