NOFAS to Launch Webinar Series

On Wednesday, November 20, NOFAS will kick-off a new, monthly webinar series with a presentation by NOFAS Vice President Kathy Mitchell on resiliency in families living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and a brief history and current overview of NOFAS as the organization prepares to celebrate its 25th year in 2014.

The one-hour webinars will be offered FREE on the third Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time and will be archived and available for download at nofas.org. The series will feature alcohol and pregnancy and FASD issues and experts such as Ed Riley, PhD, (director of the Center for Behavioral Teratology at San Diego State University and the director of the Collaboarative Initiative on FASD) who will present the December 2013 edition.
